As Salaamu Alaykum

Dawah (spreading Islam) is an obligation upon everyone of every age who has the ability, from the Scholars to the most common person. The message should be presented in the most inspiring and positive way therefore not to offend anyone.

Mankind cannot solve any of it's problems without obedience to his Creator, being and feeling accountable to the Creator for his actions and all that is going on in the world.

In the Name of Allah the Merciful,Benefactor the Merciful Redeemer

"Invite (all) to the way of the Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching;

 and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious;

for thy Lord knoweth best who have strayed from his path

and who recieve guidance"  Qur'an (Sura:16 Ayah 12)

"To every people have we appointed rites which they must follow:

Let them not then dispute with thee on the matter,

but do invite on them to thy Lord:

for art assuredly on the right way."  Qur'an (Sura:22 Ayah 67)

"And this is a book which was revealed as a blessing;

so follow it and be righetous, that ye may recieve mercy." Qur'an (Sura:2 Ayah 143)

FORTY HADITH QUDSI

HADITH 15

On the authority of Abu Hurayah (may Allah be pleased with him),

who said that the Prophet said; Allah the Almighty (swt) says:

I Am as my servant thinks I Am. I Am with him when he makes mention of Me.

If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself;

and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him

in an assembly better than it, and if he draws near to Me a hand's span,

I draw near to him an arms length, and if he draws near to Me an arm's length,

I draw near to him a fanthom's length, and if he comes to me walking,

I go to him at speed.    (It was related by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

The only way to resolve the issues and deliver peace of mind, solace to the heart and justice to the suffering humanity lies in following the last and final guidance, Al-Qur'an.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ISLAM

Islam is not a new religion. It is the truth that Allah (swt) revealed to all his Prophets throughout history. Islam is both a Religion and a complete way of life.

WHAT DO MUSLIMS BELIEVE?

There are an estimated 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide. No more than 20 percent of Muslims live in the Arabic speaking world. The country with the largest Muslim population is Indonesia. Muslims believe in one, unique and incomparable Creator. They believe in the day of judgment and individual accountability for actions. Muslims believe in all of the Prophets and Messengers beginning with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ismail, Issac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, David, Solomon, Jonah, Lut and Jesus. Allah (swt) message was reaffirmed and finalized by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them all). One becomes a Muslim by saying "There is no deity but Allah, and Muhammad is the final messenger of Allah". By this declaration, the person announces faith in all of Allah Messengers.

WHAT IS THE QUR'AN?

The Qur'an is the record of the exact words revealed by Allah through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad. It was memorized by Muhammad and the dictated to his companions. The text of the Qur'an was cross-checked during the life of the Prophet. The 114 chapters of the Qur'an in the Arabic language have remained unchanged through the century.

WHAT ABOUT MUSLIM WOMEN?

Under Islamic Law, women have always had the right to own property, recieve an education and otherswise take part in community life. Men and women are to be respected equally. The Islamic rules for modest dress apply to both women and men equally. If a particular society oppresses women, it does so out of ignorance and lack of understanding the interpretation of the Qur'an, not because of it.

WHAT IS JIHAD?

"Jihad" does not mean "Holy War" literally, Jihad means to sruggle, strive and exert effort. It is a central and broad Islamic concept that includes struggle against evil inclinations within oneself, struggle to
improve the quality of life in society etc.
